National standard for Class A fire doors

1. According to the national standard “GB12955-2008 fire doors”, Class A fire doors should meet the following requirements:

1. Material standards: The main materials of Class A fire doors shall meet the requirements of national standards such as phosphorus steel plates or Class A fire boards stipulated in the GB12955-2008 standard.

2. Structural requirements: Class A fire doors should have functions such as fire prevention, smoke insulation, heat insulation, and radiation protection, and can effectively prevent fire from spreading after passing the specified fire test.

3. Size requirements: Class A fire doors should determine the size of the door according to actual needs. Generally, the length and width of the door leaf should not exceed 2300mm and 1400mm, and the thickness of the door leaf should not be less than 45mm.

4. Opening method: The opening method of Class A fire doors should meet the requirements of the current national standards. The general requirements are push-pull, translational or rotary, and have anti-theft and anti-prying functions.

5. Sealing requirements: Class A fire doors should have good sealing performance to prevent smoke, heat and harmful gases from entering the door.

6. Glass requirements: When installing glass on Class A fire doors, the glass should meet the requirements of national standards. If laminated glass is used, the glue must not be aged or cracked.

7. Hardware requirements: The hardware accessories of Class A fire doors should meet the corresponding national standards, and have anti-corrosion, anti-seismic, and wear-resistant properties. The design requirements and manufacturing requirements of Class A fire doors should meet the relevant national standards to ensure the fire performance and service life of the doors.
